Application Dates
Applications for international students in the 2025 intake for Dentistry, Medicine and Veterinary Science courses are open now, until 31 August 2024.

Course Prerequisites
Successful completion at Year 12 level or equivalent of all of the following is a requirement for each course:
- English
- Mathematical Methods
- Chemistry
Bachelor of Dental Surgery
Prior to applying for the Bachelor of Dental Surgery, it is important that you make yourself familiar with the course and its requirements.

Before completing the application form, please read the Course and Subject Handbook for this course, together with other course-specific information published by JCU in relation to the application process, which may specify additional criteria to be considered in ranking applicants in order of merit.
If the number of applications exceeds a quota or other limit on the places made available for the course, the information provided by you in this form and any other information obtained by JCU in the application process may be used to rank applicants in order of merit by reference to those additional criteria.

If you are currently in Year 12, you must get your school's Principal, Guidance Officer, Director of Studies or equivalent to complete a Prediction of Academic Achievement Form for you, which provides a summary of your predicted academic achievement at the end of high school.

Students who have been offered a place in the JCU Bachelor of Dental Surgery program may be eligible for credit on study already completed in another university degree.
