The role of cultural connectedness for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander adolescents
This project analysed different pathways to resilience for Indigenous adolescents and culture informed connectedness to maintain resilience.
Developing a framework for measuring Indigenous Research Benefit
The aim of the project is to examine the notion of 'benefit' within an Indigenous research context with the main outcome to improve long term benefits of research, as seen from the perspective of the beneficiaries of the research, enhancing the wellbeing of Indigenous communities, as well as building research capability in a critically important but neglected area of research. The framework for measuring research benefit will facilitate an expansion of Australia’s knowledge base relating to Indigenous research leading to improved capability on the part of both Indigenous people and researchers.
