JCU Professional Experience Placement Requirements Module

In preparation for your placement, you must complete all professional experience placement requirements. To ensure these requirements are completed in a timely manner, James Cook University requires all students to complete the mandatory Professional Experience Placement Requirements Module.

To access the module through LearnJCU, select Organisations, then locate the Professional Experience Placement Requirements Module under the Essential heading. The module has five parts to complete, followed by a Declaration of Completion that you must acknowledge. It will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.

The Professional Experience Placement Team will be notified once you have completed the module. Your profile in the University’s placement system, InPlace, will then be updated to reflect your compliance.

This is a mandatory pre-placement requirement. You cannot commence your placement until you have completed the module.
