Veterinary Science Risk Management Training

First Year Veterinary Science students must complete the following modules in Learn JCU, once logged in select Organisations located on the left-hand side menu to access the below modules.

Introduction Module – Work Health and Safety all students

Module 1 First-Year students – Participate in WHS hazard identification, risk assessment, and risk control process.

Screenshot the assessment completion result (must include, name, course and result) for each quiz and send it through to the Professional Experience Placement Unit.

Retain copies for your professional portfolio.

All students in Year 2 2024

Module 2 Second-Year Students – Contribute to WHS Risk Management

All students in Year 3 and Year 4 in 2024

Module 3 Third-year Students – Student Risk Management Tools (Year 4 Students in 2024 to do this module also)
