Service Availability Cairns Campus Library

The Cairns Campus Library has two levels of service when open.

1. Library is open, staff are present, and all services are available including to members of the public.
2. The Library is open as a study space for current staff and students only through JCU ID card swipe. Limited services are available.

In our opening hours we list both the library's total opening hours and the hours that all Services are available within the Library.

The Services not available when the library is in study space mode are:

• Access without JCU ID card swipe
• Library staff (only security staff are present)
• Over the counter payments
• Binding consumable sales
• Laminating services
• Equipment loans
• Lost property retrieval
• 3D printing job pickups
• Badge making
