- Research Liaison Librarian (vacant)
Responsible for coordinating the development, delivery and evaluation of library research services that contribute to the JCU research plan and strategic priorities. The Research Liaison Librarian engages with, and provides specialist consultation services to, JCU researchers and research students.
- Team Leader, Repository and Metadata Services
Responsible for the management of the JCU Institutional Repository, ResearchOnline@JCU, including collection, preservation and providing online access to JCU research publications and theses.
- Research Data Coordinator
Performs curation of research data within the University and provides continuous improvement of research data management services by working collaboratively with other Library & information services staff, researchers, staff in Research service, eResearch Centre and the ICT directorate
- Manager, Special Collections
Responsible for planning, managing, preserving and conserving unique and rare materials of cultural and historical significance; and raising the visibility and profile of the collections in support of the University’s research, teaching and community engagement programs. Collections include the North Queensland Collection, Library Archives, Rare Books, North Queensland Photographic Collection, Shaw Collection of Australian Art, JCU Art Collection and NQHeritage.

Responsible for Copyright including the administration of licence requirements and liaison with AVCC, CAL, Screenrights, Music Agencies, and the JCU University community, the training and orientation for students and staff and the authoring and maintenance of the JCU Copyright web pages
