Summary of Project
Evaluate the microstructure for the different material states. Evaluate the residual stresses for the different material states. Compare the fatigue lives for the different material states (and with the equivalent conventional materials). Develop a model to estimate the fatigue life. Analysis of failure mechanisms from fracture surfaces.
