Summary of Project

The continuous emergence of new strains of viruses such as influenza and coronaviruses that can result in global pandemics is one of the biggest health challenge that the world’s population is facing. Such outbreaks need to be identified as soon as possible to limit their spread and require the development of new diagnostic methods that are highly sensitive. This project aims at laying the groundwork for the development of new rapid diagnostic platforms that will help control future outbreaks of life-threatening viral diseases.
