Summary of Project

Low-cycle fatigue tests under stress-controlled conditions. Study the size effect for different loading histories. Develop a numerical elastic-plastic model to estimate the stress and strain fields at the notch region. Predict the fatigue life using fatigue parameters determined at CA for strain-controlled conditions. Develop a mixed numerical-experimental model to predict the fatigue life.

Key Words
