Summary of Project

The success of corals is underpinned by their symbiosis with intracellular symbionts (Symbiodinium). However this symbiosis can break down under periods of anthropogenic stress leading to the phenomenon known as coral bleaching. This project will investigate the stress response of Symbiodinium to climate change.
