Be a part of our team of talented researchers examining: • Longitudinal transformation of large-scale governance systems in tropical, coastal and marine regions; • The role of large organisations (public, private, non-profit) in transformative governance; and • Adaptation of governance to large-scale crisis.

Ideal applicants should have some training in the social sciences, with strong analytic skills, a sense of adventure, willingness to work in an exciting and challenging science-policy environment, and a desire to lead the development of governance solutions with scientific rigour and policy impact. Outstanding applicants are eligible to apply for generous top-up scholarships and project costs. There is also the opportunity to work with partner colleagues (potentially in a co-tutelle arrangement) at the Stockholm Resilience Centre (SRC, Sweden), Center for Ocean Solutions at Stanford University (COS, USA), the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN, Switzerland), WorldFish (Malaysia), the University of Queensland (Australia) and elsewhere.
