Summary of Project

Abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) is a major cause of death in the elderly. Currently surgery is the only means to correct AAA, and there is a need to identify non-surgical therapies to treat patients. We offer pre-clinical projects assessing the therapeutic potential of re-purposed drugs and dietary interventions for AAA, using 2 well established rodent models.
