Control

The interacting hardware between you and the Cisco SX10 is the Cisco remote control, usually located somewhere on the meeting room table. Point the remote towards the camera before pressing a button.

Local presentation

Show laptop

To show a laptop on the flat panel display, connect the laptop using the HDMI cable and set the laptop display to duplicate its screen (Win/P to duplicate or mirror). Navigate to the Share button on the screen using the remote control and press the OK/Enter button on the remote.

Videoconference

Set camera angle

To view the current camera angle and make adjustments, move the cursor to the Camera Control icon, located at the top right of the screen, and press the OK/Enter button on the remote control. To exit, press the Back button.

Connecting a call

Videoconferences are usually scheduled by VAVS. To connect a call manually, use the Cisco remote and navigate to the handset icon on the screen. Click the OK/Enter button to open the address book. Locate the room to which a connection is required and press the Green button on the Cisco remote.

Adjust volume

Use the Cisco remote to adjust the volume of the conference by pressing the - or + button.
