Summary of Project

North Queensland is rich in insect-fungi. The fungi produces numerous compounds that modulates immune system of their host. Taking cues from this, the project aims to isolate, identify and characterize anti-inflammatory and cytotoxic (cancer cell lines) compounds from the selected insect-fungi.
