Stretching and Educational Session for Teams- via Zoom

Work Health and Safety unit are now conducting stretching and educational session for teams across JCU.  This is a great way to involve movement within your work day in our currently working environments.  Stretching is important and assist us with realigning our muscles, relieve tension and prevent injury.  To book your team in for a session click here.

Zoom Workstation Checks

Work Health and Safety have now commenced conducting workstation checks via Zoom. This is a great way to get your home workstation set up reviewed and is especially important if you are feeling uncomfortable. New Yammer Groups


Two new Yammer groups have been started to stay connected and spark conversations. Browse the information provided, ask questions or share your experiences and ideas with the JCU community.

  • Injury Prevention Tips: Stay informed and be proactive with injury prevention strategies tailored toward our current working from home environment.
  • Staff Health and Wellbeing: Looking after ourselves is important during difficult times. This group is a joint initiative between WHS and HR where you’ll find helpful resources and insights relating to wellbeing.
