Staff who are looking to work remotely should do so in line with the Remote Working policy and procedure. The aim of the policy and procedure is to assist Staff Members and their Supervisor to set in place a remote working arrangement where it is considered safe, suitable and appropriate (it will not be an automatic entitlement).
Access the HR ServiceNow catalogue to submit a Remote Working Arrangement (RWA) and Safety Checklist. RWA’s can be extended by using the RWA Review & Renewal function, or terminated using the RWA Termination function. Review the policy, procedure and accompanying resources for more information.

JCU’s Work Health and Safety Unit offers a Working Remotely: Safety and Wellbeing Considerations training program with the aim of providing useful and relevant information relating to WHS legislation obligations, safe workstation ergonomics and health and wellbeing tips for staff who are considering a remote working arrangement.
