Recover a hacked or compromised account

Recovering a compromised JCU Account

If you believe that your JCU account has been compromised (i.e. hacked), here are some simple steps to recover the account.

1. Change your JCU password immediately.
2. Notify the IT Help Desk
3. Check all important services for any changes, this includes:
   1. eStudent Details
   2. MY HR Online (Staff) (especially bank account details)
   3. Email (check for sent emails)
