OneDrive for Business

Microsoft OneDrive for Business is a part of Office 365 (O365) and is your private professional document library. OneDrive for Business uses Microsoft Office 365 to store your JCU personal work files in the cloud and is designed to make working across multiple devices easier.  JCU staff and students are provided with 5TB of storage space on OneDrive for Business for the duration of their studies/employment.

  • JCU staff are encouraged to use OneDrive for Business to store their personal work files – eg: journal articles, drafts etc, OneDrive for Business it is NOT intended to replace shared drives used for storing JCU Business files.
  • JCU students are encouraged to use OneDrive for Business to store their personal study-related files – eg: journal articles, lecture notes, assignment drafts etc. it's a good idea to back up any important documents or materials and you can use OneDrive for Business to do this.
