Learning Consultation with a Peer Advisor
Peer Advisors can help with developing strategies for time management, unpacking an assessment task, understanding how to meet assessment criteria, academic reading and writing. No appointment is necessary, and you can use the service as many times as you need. Consultations are 20 minutes long. Available on Townsville and Cairns campus and External/Online during semester 1 and 2. Note open hours below.
The Townsville Peer Advice Desk is available on the ground floor in the Eddie Koiki Mabo library from;
- Monday to Thursday: 10am - 2pm
- Friday: 11am - 1pm
- *The Peer Advice Desk is open semester 1 and 2 excluding lecture/recess/study vacation periods
The Cairns Peer Advice Desk is available in the Cairns library on the ground floor from;
- Tuesday to Thursday: 10am - 2pm
