If you are an undergraduate student enrolled in a degree or course of study (not single subjects), you are most likely eligible to be Commonwealth supported.
To check what type of student you are, log into eStudent, click on the My Offers tab, then View next to your course. Your student type will be next to the Liability Category.
- Domestic Fee Paying students: See Commonwealth supported fees and payment options for Australian citizens, permanent humanitarian visa holders, New Zealand citizens and permanent residents.
- International Fee Paying students: See international subject fee amounts and changes to your residency status.
If you are an undergraduate student who is an Australian citizen, permanent humanitarian visa holder, New Zealand citizen or permanent resident, but do not wish to enrol in an entire course, see the undergraduate miscellaneous tuition fee amounts for your single subject fees below:
- 2023 undergraduate miscellaneous tuition fees
- 2022 undergraduate miscellaneous tuition fees
- 2021 undergraduate miscellaneous tuition fees
- 2020 undergraduate miscellaneous tuition fees
- 2019 undergraduate miscellaneous tuition fees
- 2018 undergraduate miscellaneous tuition fees
- 2017 undergraduate miscellaneous tuition fees
If you are admitted to the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery; Bachelor of Dental Surgery, or the Bachelor of Veterinary Science as an international tuition fee student and your residency status changes during your course of study, you will then be enrolled as a domestic full tuition fee paying student for a total of 48 credit points. See the current year domestic undergraduate tuition fees:
- 2022 domestic undergraduate tuition fees
- 2021 domestic undergraduate tuition fees
- 2020 domestic undergraduate tuition fees
- 2019 domestic undergraduate tuition fees
- 2018 domestic undergraduate tuition fees
- 2017 domestic undergraduate tuition fees
Submit a Change of Citizenship request online (student login required), attaching documents that prove your change of citizenship/residency (such as a certified copy of your citizenship certificate, Immigration Grant Notification or permanent residency visa) to be admitted as a Domestic Student. Have this documentation ready before you commence.
For the next 48 credit point study load for which you become enrolled immediately after being admitted as a Domestic Student, you are required to pay domestic tuition fees that are equal to the international tuition fees. After completion of the 48 credit point study load, you may apply for a Commonwealth supported place.
Your fees will be equivalent to the international tuition fees for the year you commenced. After 48 credit points you may apply to transfer to a Commonwealth supported place.
