Transfer campus

It doesn't matter which campus you are studying at – Townsville, Cairns, Brisbane or Singapore – you can apply to transfer  to another JCU campus permanently or temporarily.

Transfer campus permanently

To transfer to another campus permanently, you need to be sure your course and major is offered at the campus you are applying to transfer to. If it is not offered, you can apply to transfer to another course, or change to a new major that is available. To check which courses may be on offer to you, visit Courses and Study.

If you are an Australian citizen, permanent resident, New Zealand citizen or humanitarian visa holder you will not be eligible for Commonwealth support if you apply to the Singapore or Brisbane campuses (Commonwealth supported places are not offered at these campuses). You will have to pay the full tuition fee amount.

To apply for a campus transfer you must meet certain eligibility criteria. For specific criteria, please refer to JCU's Enrolment Policy – Coursework Students.

How to apply

To apply, download a Campus Transfer Application (PDF, 263 KB) and submit it to the Student Centre. If you are changing course or major you also need to submit a course transfer application.
