Students in courses offered by JCU’s College of Medicine and Dentistry who are required to undertake placements off-campus may have additional costs, such as:

In your financial planning, it's important to consider that you may have to reduce or temporarily cease your work commitments during placements to maintain the required attendance.

You're required to maintain suitable dress standards in clinical and placement situations. You may need to budget for some items in addition to the uniform requirements for a course.

You'll need access to a reliable computer with an internet connection, webcam, headset and microphone as we conduct some health subjects using blended learning modes and deliver learning material electronically.
