The steps to enrol are the same each study period. You must choose your subjects, check your timetable then enrol online.
Online enrolment closes at the end of Week 1 of the Study Period, after this date you need to contact your faculty if you want to change your enrolment.
Step 1 – Choose subjects
Use your Study Plan in eStudent as a guide when choosing your subjects – it basically gives you a blueprint of what subjects you need to do in order to complete your degree.
Most degrees will have a combination of both core and elective subjects. If your degree allows you to choose an elective subject, you can browse all JCU subjects on Subject Search.

Step 2 – Check lecture timetable
Once you choose your subjects you need to check your timetable to ensure you have no lecture clashes. Go to our timetables webpage to do this.
Step 3 – Enrol in subjects
Enrol online via eStudent. Go to the My Study Plans tab, then on the side menu click on Study Plans to select your course. Subjects that you can enrol in are highlighted on your plan.
Once you have enrolled, check your enrolment is correct by clicking on Current enrolment .
