Copy or move a video between folders

If a video needs to be moved to a subject folder it can either be copied, making another version of it, reference copied, allowing it to exist in two or more places at once, or moved to the folder.

1. Navigate to the Panopto Dashboard
2. Pop the Panopto Dashboard out into a new tab by clicking on the icon in the top right of the page:
   
3. Select the video or videos you'd like to move or copy by hovering over its thumbnail and clicking the box to select it:
   
4. Once selected click on either the copy or the move buttons:
   
5. Either select the folder from the drop-down list or search for the folder by typing its name:
   
6. Click either Move or Copy to complete the task.

If you are moving a video into a subfolder within the subject folder, you might prefer the drag and drop option:
