CEE Teaching@JCU Support New Teaching Staff

Induction for New Teaching Staff

Are you a new teaching staff member?  The Centre of Education and Enhancement has developed three self-directed Short Learning Programmes to complete as part of your employment probation requirements and to help support and orientate you to JCU as an educator.

The new core offerings are:

  • Academic Integrity
  • Being an Educator
  • The JCU Student Experience

These Short Learning Programs focus on giving you an understanding of:

  • what is expected of you as an educator at JCU,
  • an overview of what the student experience looks like at JCU, how you contribute, and what supports are available,
  • the importance of Academic Integrity, JCU's educative approach, and strategies for dealing with potential academic misconduct.

To register

Please email the Centre for Education and Enhancement Admin team and request access to the modules. Once received you will be given access to complete the Short Learning Programs via LearnJCU.
