Retention

Student retention is supported across the entire student learning journey from recruitment to graduation. At JCU, student retention is measured at three levels:

• Course retention
• Division retention, and
• University retention.

The Centre for Education and Enhancement staff work collaboratively to support academic staff in the area of student retention through:

• Learning Analytics - Learning Analytics can be used to review and improve the use of content and learning activities to identify students in need of additional support.
• Student Support
• Teaching evaluation and feedback
