Distinguishing features

Stems rounded. Leaves with 1-2 pairs of opposite pinnae/segments, each with up to 25 pairs of leaflets. Spines present on stems but not on pedicel. Flowers in a globular head, petals and stamens pink. Fruit a pod; pods clustered to 2.5 cm long.
