Description

This species is usually found in wooded areas. Body is grey with underparts brownish with bronze margins, wings with bronze and green areas and black bars, underparts are blue-grey, tail rounded, head has a distinctive erect black crest. Legs and feet pink, eyes with an orange-red orbit, bill dark grey. A feature of this species is the manner in which it tips the tail when alighting.
