Diplodactylus conspicillatus

(Fat-tailed Diplodactylus, Fat-tailed Gecko)

Description

This gecko will occasionally be seen sunning itself on bare open ground, chiefly found in drier areas of the country. The brownish body bears dark brown and sometimes pale spots, belly is paler, legs often with a pinkish tinge. The short tail is broad and somewhat flattened and has a number of horizontal scaly ridges.
