Description

This species is common in the sclerophyll around campus. The male has a blue-grey body and chest with white underparts and grey undertail. Female has a blue-grey body but the upper breast is rufous with underparts white, tail as for male. Legs and feet black, eyes dark brown, female with a pale area near eye, bill blue with black tip.
