Description

This small fungus is one of the jelly fungi so named because the fruiting body is soft, pliable and jelly-like. They are found on rotting logs and timber after rain and disappear as the wood dries. The body is erect, 1-1.5 cm high, simple or branched rods which are yellow to orange.
