Description

Found in rainforests particularly near tracks, other cleared areas and water. Body is dark brown to grey-brown and there are numerous flecks both darker and paler than the basic colour. Head is copper-coloured, flanks darker than body, belly whitish. Males often have a bright red or coppery-coloured throat. Four fingers per foreleg, 5 toes per hind limb.
