Description

This very slender grey-brown to olive-brown snake is distinguished by the darker head bordered by black and yellow bands and a fine tapering tail. Belly is paler and may be flushed with red, there is a dark line across the snout. It is found in woodlands and grassy areas where it preys on various lizards.
