Description

Although the larvae of this species are particularly fond of wattles (Acacia), they also feed on various legumes and eucalypts found in grassy woodland areas and occasionally on some other species. The larvae which are attended by ants are usually green or yellowish-green with several bands and lines present. The adults may vary in colour with the season, both sexes have bluish central areas, but the female has more brown, both sexes are brownish-grey on the undersurface.
