Description

The pinnate leaves, that are often more than 1 m long, emerge in a rosette from a thick fleshy trunk. The leaves are hard with a furry feel, hence the common name. The margins are shallowly serrated. Male and female reproductive structures are on separate plants. All parts of the plant are toxic but particularly the seeds
