Description

The fruiting body is more or less funnel-shaped to 4 cm diameter. The upper surface has concentric rings in different shades of brown, sometimes with a pinkish tinge, outer edge whitish. The lower fertile surface is a pale brown with an uneven vertically ribbed surface. The stalk of these specimens was up to 1 cm long and attached below ground to rhizomes of Sabi grass (Urochloa mosambicensis).
