Description

A spreading understory shrub with pithy stems, the leaves are bi- to tripinnate and up to 60 cm long. The small greenish-white to cream flowers are borne in cymes to about 20 cm across, these are followed by a black ovoid berry with 4-5 seeds. L. rubra has yellow to pink flowers and the buds are reddish.
