Description

An erect herb to about 40 cm tall, aromatic when crushed. Leaves oblanceolate to 6 cm long, forming decurrent wings on the stem, these are about 2 mm wide and margins are entire. Flowers are clustered in ovoid heads to about 2 cm long, only disk florets present, corolla pink to violet. Achenes with a pappus of bristles to 3.3 mm long.
