Description

This mistletoe is chiefly found on various eucalypts but may be found on other Myrtaceae at times. In contrast to a similar red-flowered mistletoe on campus (A. miquelii) this species has epicortical runners present, these are 'stolons' running along the branch of the host. Leaves are up to 25 cm long. Flowers are in simple umbels of 3-6, the corolla is red, 3-6 cm long with 6 ribs or angles
