Description

A solitary palm with a slender trunk, it is native to the coastal areas of Queensland. The trunk is grey with conspicuous rings and is crowned with arching pinnate leaves, green on both surfaces, the terminal pair of pinnae are fused and resemble a fish tail. Fruit bright red to 2 cm long.
