The tubes and hence the pores are usually exposed below the body of the cap, they are yellowish-green and turn blue when damaged. The stalk has a distinct pinkish tinge. Found in Eucalypt woodland , frequently on decaying wood but sometimes on soil. This one was collected at Herberton. It is a mycorrhizal fungus.
