Distinguishing features

Stems densely covered with soft hairs, likewise the leaves which have prominent veins on the upper surface. Flowers with whitish-petals, yellow-red at the base; stamens cluster around the style, anthers numerous. Fruit of 10 mericarps, each with 2 bristles about 3 mm long.
