Description

This native is a weak perennial with trailing or twining stems which are covered in dense brownish hairs. Leaves have 3 leaflets which usually have distinct basal lobes; size varies to 16 x 12 cm, usually less, may be sparsely hairy. Flowers in 2-25-flowered racemes, standard greenish-yellow about 1.2 x 1.7 cm; pod terete to 9 cm long, 6 mm wide, covered with dark hairs; seeds 8-15 per pod. The subspecies radiata is widely cultivated and there are numerous cultivars.
