Cabomba, a native name used in Guiana. Perennial aquatic herbs with dimorphic leaves; submerged leaves opposite or whorled, deeply dissected, whilst the floating leaves when present are alternate and entire. Perianth usually 3+3. Fruits are dry and indehiscent. Some are serious weeds.
