Description

A rainforest tree often planted as a street tree distinguished by the milky sap and the dark glossy green leaves that are in whorls of 4 or more, the lateral veins are more or less parallel to one another. The fragrant white flowers are followed by long thin follicles to 40 cm long.

Medicine from tree used for treating toothache, diarrhoea and rheumatism. Timber used for making manual tools. The tree also used for fish poison”.
