Description

This rare scrambling vine which may grow up to 8 m, has been found in the University Creek area on the eastern side of the campus. The leaves are alternate, lanceolate and heart-shaped at the base; the lower surface as well as the stems are densely covered in white to silvery-coloured hairs, Flowers have a fused corolla with a thickened portion in the middle of each section, funnel-shaped with lobes spreading to 10 cm diameter, white. The fruit is a papery capsule surrounded by the persistent calyx segments.
